HOW TOÂ INSTALL?
Just like any watch face available on the Connect IQ store, Christmas Theme will be automatically installed on your watch after you download it and sync the watch with the Garmin Connect cloud.

Newly downloaded watch faces appear automatically on the device after the sync. If it doesn't happen, you can manually choose it using the main menu on the watch.
If you have downloaded Christmas Theme but it doesn't appear on the list of available watch faces on your device, it is because it hasn't synced yet with the Garmin Connect cloud. Check your the bluetooth connection and the communications with your phone.

Use the r.485 app on your phone to get your unlock code. BUT FIRST YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW YOUR USER ID. The user ID can be found in the watch face settings (https://apps.garmin.com/settingsHelp)
Below we explain how to access the settings using the Garmin Connect app on your phone.
Remark: the process may be slightly different on Android and on iPhone.
Open the Garmin Connect app on your phone.
Click on the watch miniature on the top of the screen. A green dot indicates that the watch is paired and connected to the phone. If you don't see this green dot, something must be wrong.

Click on Appearance
Click on Watch faces
Select Christmas Theme
Click on Settings
Here you will find the USER ID (it was previously called unique code).

And here you can input the UNLOCK CODE which you can generate with the r.485 app on your phone.

HOW TO UNINSTALL?
When the Christmas period is over, you will probably want to uninstall Christmas Theme in order to make space available for other cool r.485 apps :-D

There's nothing "special" about the Christmas Theme when it comes to uninstalling it. It is just like any other watch face from the Connect IQ store . It is important to make sure that you CHOOSE ANOTHER WATCH FACE on the watch (using the watch menu) before you try to uninstall.

You can also try to install another watch face from the store. This should then become the active one in the watch. Then you'll be able to uninstall Christmas Theme.
HOW LONG IS THE UNLOCK CODE VALID?
You can use it as long as you wish, also in the next years ;-)

But just a remark: depending on your device, the USER ID may change if you uninstall and reinstall the app (it's due to the Connect IQ environment**, we can't control it). If that happens, you'll need to recreate another unlock code.

WHY IS MY USER ID EQUAL ZERO?
It means that the watch face is installed, but it hasn't been chosen on your watch. Open the main menu on the watch, select watch faces and set Christmas Theme as the active face.
When you open the settings again (on the Garmin Connect app on your phone), the USER ID will be different than zero.
